This is for our Year 7 to Year 9 Boarding families
Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding
Welcome to our official Junior Boarding Blog 2022. Its Term 2 and its frightening to realise how quickly time marches on for all of us. Its great to have the boys back on the Hill and I am so proud of our young men and their effort last term. There were many outstanding results achieved in the classroom and new relationships established. I commend our news boys on their successful transition into Boarding and College life and I can say confidently that a family spirit is alive and well in the Junior Houses.
Winter Uniform
Our boys look sharp in their winter uniform and its pleasing to see the boys take on the challenge of tying a simple tie knot. Xavier (Year 7) and Angus P (Year 9) are the experts in the House and like all things in life, practice makes perfect for our fine young men and I am certain that they'll master the skill of tying a tie knot in no time.
ISA Rugby
This week the boys will travel to Bellevue Hill to play against the Cranbrook School and to build on their impressive effort against Joeys last term. Its pleasing to see the boys compete with their mates and create memories that will last beyond the College gates.
Game times:
U13 - 9:00 am
U14 - 10:00 am
U15 - 11:00 am
U16B - 12:00 AM
Community Mass
Community Mass returns this weekend and I am looking forward to singing with the boys. Just a friendly reminder that if you have approved leave for the weekend to ensure that your son returns at 5:00 pm at the latest for Community Mass, but more importantly, you and your family are most welcome to celebrate the Eucharist with the boarding family.
Thank you
The Boarding Team and I appreciate your ongoing support and feel free to contact the team and I at anytime.
God Bless,
Tevita
