Valens Update

Dear Valens Family,

I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day and I know that the boys are looking forward to having you onsite for the ‘Boarding Family Weekend’.

The boys have been working hard as the Semester 1 Examinations commence next week (Thursday 20th May). Valens are going on their second week of study and preparation for the upcoming exams, whilst completing homework and assessment tasks for PDHPE and Music. Exam timetables have been distributed and are on display in the House. Thank you to Ms Santa Maria (‘Grandma Sue'), Daniel Brennan, Finn Hastie and Lindsay Munro for their support and care for the boys. The Valens Team go above and beyond the call of duty for the boys, whether it be in the classroom, the sporting arena and in the day to day operations of the House.

The following are key events this week:

- Year 7 NAPLAN Testing (Tuesday 11th – Thursday 13th May)

- MCS Rugby League (Thursday 13th May)

- Parent Teacher Student Interview (Friday 14th & Sunday 16th May)

- Boarding Family Weekend & Boarding Families Mass

- ISA Rugby vs Cranbrook

Week 4 is a busy week and to assist the Boarding team in planning could I please request all leave to be submitted by Wednesday 12th May. If you are having trouble with ‘Boardingware’, contact Mr Luke Morrissey (Director of Boarding) and he will assist you (LMorrissey@stgregs.nsw.edu.au).
