Routine, routine, routine ...

Dear Valens Family,

Thank you for your support in relation to the initiatives that I have set to create a positive culture online where our boys feel connected and a strong sense of belonging. This week in my communication with the boys I have emphasised the importance of a quality routine. I feel that in a time of constant change, a solid routine will provide some stability and support your son during remote online learning.

Its important to note that this is only a recommendation as some of you have already established a quality routine with your son. You are welcomed to edit this document to suit your needs, however, there’s a catch. Next week, you will have 10 points at your dispense to award your son at the end of each week and this will go toward our Valens Boarding Online Competition. All I need is a SMS message at the end of each week with the points you have awarded your son and a sentence that acknowledges their positive effort.

I apologise in advance if this becomes a disaster or have a negative impact, however, I am hopeful that our boys will respond positively. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss this further.
