Term 2 has commenced

The Valens boys are back on the hill and have made a steady transition back to boarding and academic life. The boys look smart in their winter uniform and we have 2 new additions to the Valens family, that is, Lucas Dempsey and Cruz Hughes in Year 8.

This term there will be a strong focus on ‘opportunites’ and this will be the underlying theme for the Valens boys. Everyday presents new opportunities in the classroom, the sporting arena and their overall development as fine young men. Its pleasing to see the boys apply themselves this week, for example, study sessions were productive and the boys have achieved numerous ‘green stamps’. Further, they have been training hard for Rugby Union and Rugby League – yes, they have been working flat out.

The following are key events in Week 2:

- Year 7 Camp Narrabeen (Monday 26th – Wednesday 28th April)

- MCS Rugby League (Thursday 29th April)

- ISA Rugby Union (Saturday 1st May)

Please note: The boys will revert to their normal study routine next week. This term the boys will undertake an examination block and the Year 7 boys have NAPLAN.
